Information We Collect
PDFparse is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We minimize the data we collect and process. When you use our platform, we may collect the following types of information:
When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.
We collect anonymized analytics about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, tools used, and session duration. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.
Files uploaded for conversion are stored temporarily on our servers for processing only. We do not sell your files or use them for advertising. All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 2 hours of processing.
Some features, such as our AI agents, send document content to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini API and Groq) solely to generate your result. Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers within 2 hours.
If you purchase premium credits, payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor (Polar.sh). PDFparse never stores credit card numbers, CVVs, or full banking details on our servers.

TLS Encryption
All data transmitted between your browser and our edge servers is encrypted using modern TLS cryptographic suites.
Encrypted in Transit (TLS/HTTPS)
All uploads and downloads are encrypted via TLS/HTTPS, with files stored in isolated ephemeral workspaces until automatic deletion.
Automatic 2-Hour Purge
Uploaded documents are processed in isolated, ephemeral runtimes and permanently destroyed within 2 hours. No backups exist.
Private by Design Architecture
AI agents parse documents without retaining or logging document contents. Only file size, type, and processing status are logged.
Third-Party Services
PDFparse integrates with reputable third-party infrastructure and service providers:
Google OAuth
Used strictly for optional federated user sign-in and token authentication.
Polar.sh Payments
Merchant of Record and payment infrastructure handling all subscription billing and transactions.
Google Gemini API & Groq
Processes AI document agent queries. When operating on Google's free API tier, Google's standard developer terms permit Google to retain inputs for model improvements; upgrading to paid API tiers prevents training retention. PDFparse does not retain document contents.
Cloud Container Hosting
Cloud container runtimes with TLS in-transit encryption and automated 2-hour file cleanup cycles.

Request a complete export of all personal identity and activity data we hold about you at any point.

Request immediate, permanent deletion of your account, API tokens, and all associated metadata.

Update or correct outdated profile information and billing points directly from your dashboard.
Right to Portability
Obtain your machine-readable logs and configurations in standardized JSON formatting.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Revoke permissions for optional analytical cookies at any time without impacting core tool utility.

We enforce automated lifecycle expiration policies so data is preserved only for as long as legitimately necessary:

Changes to This Policy

Your continued use of PDFparse following the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
