PDFparse operates on a clear, predictable credit model designed to make document processing simple and transparent. A credit represents a single unit of specialized AI document intelligence computation. Every time you run any of the 16 specialized domain agents—such as the Contract Risk Analyzer, Lease Auditor, Lease Abstractor, NDA Screener, Property Deed Extractor, or Mortgage Parser—the system deducts exactly 1 credit from your account balance. Each individual credit covers the end-to-end processing of one complete document up to 30 pages in length. In contrast to AI agents, standard file conversion tools and document utilities do not consume credits. You can convert files between PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, and text formats, or use utilities such as Merge PDF, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, and Compress PDF without spending any credits. Your monthly credit allocation is dedicated entirely to running the specialized AI document agents. Plan limits are structured around monthly processing volumes, batch sizes, file size thresholds, and team seats. On the Free Plan, users receive 5 AI agent runs per month, single-file processing, and a maximum file size limit of 10 MB per document with access to introductory legal agents (Contract Risk Analyzer and NDA Screener). The Pro Plan provides 50 AI agent runs per month, batch uploads of up to 10 files simultaneously, a 50 MB maximum file size limit, priority processing queues, structured data downloads, and access to all 16 live agents across Legal and Real Estate suites. The Business Plan provides 250 AI agent runs per month, batch processing up to 50 files, a 100 MB file size limit, 3 included team seats sharing a pooled credit balance, priority processing queues, and 24-hour response priority email support on business days. Additional team seats can be added to the Business Plan at $15 per month ($144 per year), which grants an additional 50 AI runs per month for each added seat. Users can inspect their live credit balance, current monthly quota, total credits spent, and complete transaction ledger at any time by navigating to /dashboard while signed in. When your credit balance reaches zero and you attempt to run an AI agent, the processing request returns a 402 status code and the application displays the insufficient credits modal. This modal presents your current balance, the required credit count, and direct options to upgrade your subscription tier on /pricing or initiate checkout. Standard conversion tools remain accessible even when AI credits are exhausted. All uploaded documents and converted output files are stored ephemerally on temporary server storage. Under the platform retention policy, files are automatically and permanently deleted from temporary storage after 2 hours. The platform does not retain permanent copies or archives of user documents.
